Mercury Energy has kindly sponsored our 2025 Easter Activities, including a town centre Easter Egg Hunt (paper not chocolate) and colouring-in competition.

We have hidden 11 adorable Easter eggs in shop windows in the town centre. Scavengers need to find at least 10 of those eggs, write the business names of where they found them, and go into the draw to win some cracking prizes.

Entries open 05 April to 21 April 2025. Winners announced 23 April 2025. All children up to and including age 16 can enter.

Forms are available from Spacecraft, Luna’s Gelateria, Taupō Library & the Visitor Information Centre. Deposit completed forms into “The Wishing Well” at Spacecraft and stop in for a Special Easter Treat. Collection point is on the corner of Te Heuheu and Ruapehu St.

On the reverse of the entry form is an egg-cellent Easter-themed colouring-in competition. There are prizes to be won in both instances, with age categories of 8 and Under & 9-16.
