Towncentre Taupō manages the licenses for people wishing to busk, sell raffle tickets, run a street appeal or hold a sausage sizzle in the Taupō town centre. You may have other ideas that we are happy to consider as well.

There are two public areas that we manage for buskers and stall holders. These are located outside Postie Plus on Horomatangi St and on both sides of the middle crossing on Te Heuheu St, being outside Brumbys or outside Coin Save.

All applicants need to complete the Busking/Stall Holders form. No fees are required. You can apply online or click the DOWNLOAD button The online form will be automatically sent to us. We will confirm availability and return a signed application to you. Buskers and stall holders must specify the dates they intend to perform. Please note that the maximum number of consecutive days permitted is two.

Our permission is not required for private properties such as Countdown, Pak'n'Save and The Warehouse. Buskers and stall holders need to get permission directly from those businesses.
